About Thooral Ninnu Pochchu
Thooral Ninnu Pochu (1982) is a tamil romantic drama directed by K. Bhagyaraj. In addition to directing, Bhagyaraj also wrote the story, screenplay and dialogues for the movie.
After his 1981 hit Antha Ezhu Naatkal, Bhagyaraj once again proved that he is a master story teller with his screenplay in this movie. Thooral Ninnu Pochu was a huge box office success and ran nearly houseful for around 300 days in many theatres including the now demolished Thangam theatre of Madurai.
M.N. Nambiar who was until then known for his villain roles, played a different character role in the movie.
Ilayaraja composed the songs and scored the background music. The movie had memorable songs including Erikkarai Poongaatre, Boopaalam Isaikkum Poomahal Oorvalam & Thangachangili Minnum Paingili.
