About Madha Yaanai Koottam
Madha Yaanai Koottam is a first for many people. For G.V. Prakash, this the first time he is producing a movie. Vikram Sugumaran who had previously assisted Balu Mahendra during his "Kadhai Neram" days and later worked with Vetrimaran for Polladhavan and AaduKalam is directing a movie for the first time. Writer Vela Ramamoorthi who is known for his Tamil short stories is also playing an important role in Madha Yaanai Koottam
For cinematographer Ragul Dharman also this marks his first film as an independent cameraman. He has previously worked for Ravi K. Chandran in may films.
The story is a thriller in a village background and is said to portray the cultural values of Tamil Nadu. Viji Chandrasekhar who most recently got critical applauds for her role in Aarohanam is also playing an important role.
