About Pori
After his debut movie Thiruda Thirudi (2004) which went on to become a runaway success and relaunched Actor Dhanush as a commercial hero, director Subramaniam Siva chose to an action movie with Jiiva.
Pooja played the female lead in movie. The movie also had legendary actor Nagesh playing the role of father of the protagonist. The movie was a huge disappointment for the director and bombed in the box office.
Many years later (December 2013) in an appearance in Star Vijay TV's "Coffee with DD", heroine Puja Umashankar declared "Pori" as the worst movie of her career.
