Goli Soda (2014)

Goli Soda is a 2014 tamil movie directed by renowned cinematographer Vijay Milton who has handled the camera for many popular films including Vazhakku Enn 18/9, Kadhal, Autograph, Chocoloate and Priyamudan. Vijay Milton's previous directorial attempt was Azhagai Irukkurai Bayamai Irukkirathu  in which he told a youthful triangular love story. But this time he is coming with a movie that attempts to capture the lives of teen age boys who work and live around the Koyambedu vegetable market in Chennai. 

Goli Soda from outside looks very calm and clear. But inside it contains water filled with gas at high pressure. When the soda bottle is disturbed the pressure can burst the bottle itself. Goli soda as a film has a similar theme. Four teen age boys who live a jolly life have their lives changed by the events they encounter. 

The film was shot mostly in in the Koyambedu market. And most of the scenes where shot without any one aware that a film shoot is happening. The lead characters were played by the boys who acted in the Pasanga movie. The dialogues for Goli soda were written by Pandiraj who directed those boys for the Pasanga movie.
